Dr. Drew is a leading physical therapist with extensive experience treating elite athletes from the NFL, NBA, and the World’s Strongest Man competition. As the former Physical Therapist for the Los Angeles Lakers (2022–2023 season), he played a key role in helping the team reach the NBA Western Conference Finals.
He is the founder of MOTUS, a movement-based approach to clinical rehabilitation that bridges the gap between performance and recovery — designed for everyone from professional athletes to weekend warriors. Before establishing MOTUS, Drew spent five years as the Director of Rehabilitation at the University of Southern California’s Athletic Medicine Department, overseeing the care and recovery of USC athletes.
Drew continues to shape the next generation of practitioners as an Adjunct Instructor of Clinical Physical Therapy in the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology (Athletic Training emphasis) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from USC. He later completed a residency in Orthopaedics and a fellowship in Sports Physical Therapy through Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles.
With a rare blend of clinical expertise, academic leadership, and on-field experience, Drew has become a trusted name in sports rehabilitation. His work spans the NFL, NBA, Division I Athletics, USA Indoor and Beach Volleyball, and the World’s Strongest Man competition.
He also serves as a board content expert for the Sports Clinical Specialist Exam, a clinical instructor for the Kaiser Permanente Sports Fellowship and Azusa Pacific University Physical Therapy Department, and previously led the USC Division I Sports Fellowship, one of only three programs of its kind in the nation.

Dr. Terry Weyman lives in Southern California where he has been the Clinic Director of Chiropractic Sports Institute for over 36 years. He graduated from Chiropractic College in 1989 from Cleveland Chiropractic College-LA and received his CCSP in 1991. In 2003 he finished his Sports Medicine internship at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and in August of 2005 he was selected by the USOC to be the Team USA Chiropractor at the World University Games in Izmir, Turkey.
Dr. Weyman has been the Chief Medical Director of many professional and top amateur athletic events including the Professional Water ski and Wakeboard tour, Rodeo and Four winds Adventure Race. He has also been the Team Chiropractor for the National cycling team, and Team Luna Women’s mountain bike team. In 1994 he was the Norwegian Alpine Ski Team Chiropractor for the 1994 Winter Olympics held in Lillehammer Norway. Dr. Weyman has been a post graduate faculty member of two Chiropractic colleges and an instructor for both CCSP and Diplomate sports programs held across the US.
Currently Dr. Weyman works with Pepperdine University overseeing all athletic teams alongside athletic trainers. He also lectures on Chiropractors roles in Sports related injuries both Nationally and Internationally. He has Authored more than 20 publications, magazine columns and 2 book chapters.
Dr. Lichtman’s passion for helping athletes prevent and recover from injury is grounded in personal experience. Repeated injuries during high school soccer eventually prevented him from playing in college, and it became his mission to help others achieve their goals without injury or properly heal and restore to full functional capacity.
In 2010, Dr. Lichtman was involved in the first group of Instructors with RockTape ™ to become a “Power Taping” instructor. He teaches multiple RockTape™ taping techniques specifically designed for the athlete.
In 2012, Dr. Lichtman was appointed to the board of directors for the International Testicular Foundation. He’s also been named as an affiliate of STOP (Sports Trauma and Overuse Prevention), a division of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). Dr. Lichtman was appointed by Governor Brown as a Board Member of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners here in CA.
